It has been a week since grandma left us...all the memories remain vivid in my mind...the one and only rice dumplings with yam paste in it, home made fishballs, rice kueh and many more. I still can remember grandma used to mass produce these items and distributes to all Lee family...And when I was young, used to go to the old house at raffles place, the old kampong shop house where the aunties, mum and grandma will play mj while the kids will fool around...play catching, cards, A-E-I-O-U, zero point, five stones there...At dinner time, grandma will also cook a sumptuous meal for us. Really miss those days...no stress from work, so peaceful and so protected...really misses grandma's cookings...especially the rice dumplings with yam paste once a year...really....how I wish time could rewind and stop there...I still can remember there was once mum was busy and grandma gotta baby sit me. She bought me to 2nd anutie's house and took care of me. Early in the morning when I woke up, breakfast was on already on the table...a bowl of bird nest but I refused to eat. My very first bowl of bird nest and I refused to eat!!!Silly me...I told grandma that I don't dare to eat it and off course, I got scolding from her...Thinking back...I really regretted. Not because it was bird nest but because of grandma's efforts. She woke up early in the morning to cook and I refused to eat. I will never have this chance again.

Nevertheless, I still wanna say "thank you" to Grandma. Thanks for bringing my dad to this world, or else I will not have such a noble daddy. Thanks grandma for all the good foods in the past. Thanks god for giving me such a good family! Thanks! Though grandma had now left us, she will always be in our loving memory. Love you ah ma! May you rest in peace.
